Why Don't Parallel Generators Get Full Power of Each Generator

Your parallel gen sets produce 2000 watts for each generator why does it say only 3,800 if it is 2 generators?

This is a really good question, we spoke with the manufacturer of the etrailer 3,800-Watt Portable Inverter Generators # 289-SUA2000i-2 and they told us that when you parallel two generators you get about 95 percent of the power from each one. This is why the combined power isn't just double the power of an individual one.
