Axle Capacity on Trailer that Uses 4T25580 Inner Bearing and LM67048 Outer Bearing

Question:

Was wondering if you could tell me the weight limit for my axles that I got I have the bearing numbers outer bearing-LM67048, inner bearing – 4T25580. They are older axles, 3 inch diameter round tubing with five lug bolts with the little plates that go on to hold tire on, thanks

Based on the bearing numbers and axle diameter for your trailer, you likely have either 5,200 pound or 6,000 pound axles (with a 5,200 pound unit being the most likely).

In order to verify its exact capacity I recommend trying to locate a sticker or tag on the axle itself that lists its ratings. If you can't find anything then you can also try contacting the trailer manufacturer with your VIN and they should be able to provide you with this information.

For a 5,200 pound hub assembly (if you happen to be needing replacements) I recommend the Dexter E-Z Lube # 8-201-5UC3-EZ, which will fit your existing spindles perfectly.
