We do not currently carry PullRite products but based on my research there isn't a sliding base available that can be added to their fixed hitches. For a sliding 5th wheel hitch to give you the needed cab clearance during sharp turns with your short bed Ram you will need to go with a completely new hitch.
For a sliding hitch I highly recommend the Curt A20 # C16541 because of its interlocking 2-jaw system that provides a secure connection and a quiet ride, its fully articulating torsion head that eases hookup and reduces any chucking, and the non-binding slider that gives you 12 inches of travel front to back. It has a 20,000 pound towing weight capacity.
This hitch will attach to any industry-standard, above-bed base rails. If this is what you currently have in your truck bed then you are good to go. Some PullRite hitches though only attach to their own unique base rails so you will want to check to be sure. If you are able to tell me the model number of your hitch I willl be happy to verify this.
If needed you can add industry-standard base rails with the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # C16444-204.
