Will Standard Wheel Lug Wrench Fit Lionshead Trailer Tire and Wheel # LH36FR
Question:
On the LH36FR Westlake aluminum tire and wheel combo, Im concerned with lug size. I understand they are designed to accept 1/2inch x 20. With the lug holes recessed into the wheel, sometimes the socket will make contact with the wheel before fully seating over the lug nut. Therefore, properly torquing to spec is impossible. What lug nuts do you recommend to avoid this potential hassle? Thanks.

You need to use a thinner walled socket if you are running into clearance issues fitting the socket all the way into the cutout for the wheel lugs. I've run into this problem before on a car and it was because I was using a socket with a really thick wall. Going with a more standard size socket/4-way like the # PTW1 would prevent this issue. The wheel part # LH36FR also does not have a thin and deep cut out for the lugs either.
For a standard 1/2" -20 lug nut we have the part # LHLR103 which would work well.
