Hitch Needed for 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera
Question:
Let me give you the long story first: About two years ago, I replaced the muffler and exhaust pipes from the catalytic converter back on my 1995 Olds Cutlass Ciera sedan, not a station wagon. I ordered the parts from Advance Auto Parts, and when they came in and I tried to fit it, they were completely the wrong partsthey didnt look anything like the existing parts. So, I took them back to the store, and we looked at a bunch of diagramseventually I determined that the parts I needed looked more like those for the Cutlass Ciera Cruiser the station wagon. After some jawboning, they ordered those parts for me, and when they came in, they were exactly the right parts. So, now I want a trailer hitch, but Im concerned about which hitch I should buyshould I buy the # C12008 for the 1995 Cutlass Ciera or the #36103 for the 1995 Cutlass Ciera Cruiser Wagon. I guess you guys cant answer for sure, so I need some help: * Have you ever run into this situation before for the Ciera? * I guess the installation instructions / diagrams for both hitches might be helpfulcan you give me access to those? * If I buy the hitch and it doesnt fit, what do I do about returning it and exchanging it for the other one? Any other suggestions?

I have confirmed with Draw-Tite that the Class II Receiver Hitch, part # 36188 is indeed the correct hitch for your 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera. The wagon model does use a completely different hitch.
To make the install a bit easier, I would recommend purchasing a couple of the fish wires (part # 80101-1) that will assist threading the hardware through the vehicle frame.
You might also need the following:
Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Trailer Connector, part # 18252
Draw Bar, part # 36053
1-7/8 Inch Trailer Ball, part # 19256
2 Inch Trailer Ball, part # 19258
Pin and Clip, part # PC2
Locking Hitch Pin, part # e98879
