Dimensions of the Mounting Holes for the Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier
Question:
Can I get the measurements from the center of the 2 pin holes to the vertical tire holder. In fact all the measurants would be nice. I am hoping this will work on my rig because I have no way to carry a spare tire. I am looking at body clearance in my class A motor home. I have a 2006 Safari Trek 29RB.. Thank You

Sure thing! The 2 holes at the top of the plate on the Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier # RM-195225 measure 4" apart on center. I have attached a photo that has the dimensions of the mounting holes on the bracket for you to reference.
Then from the top edge of the inside of your hitch receiver tube to the top of the handle measures 70-1/2" tall but then that is reduced to 42-1/2" with the unit retracted. There is a maximum of 10" spacing between the rear of your RV and the hitch pin hole.
Attached is a review video for you to check out. I do recommend looking at the Spare Tire Lock # e98892 as well to lock the wheel to the carrier and give you some peace of mind about the wheel getting stolen if you have to make a stop on your journey.
