Recommended Gooseneck Hitch Ball for 2018 Ram 2500 with Factory Gooseneck and 5th Wheel Prep

2018 Ram 2500 Cummins I have a 2500 Cummins with the ram factory gooseneck/5th wheel prep kit I was wondering what after market gooseneck ball will fit and work with the prep kit?

For your 2018 Ram 2500 with factory gooseneck and 5th wheel prep package, the Curt Ball and Safety Chain Loops Kit for Ram Underbed Gooseneck Hitch # C60618 is the most popular option.

You can alternatively use the B&W # BWGNXA2062. The biggest difference is in the way the gooseneck hitch ball attaches. The Curt lever is on the top of the ball and is metal. The B&W has a lever that is not on the ball but will sit behind the ball. It isn't as clean a look but the function is really nice.

Any of these options will work well for you if you have a traditional gooseneck trailer. If you have a gooseneck adapter to a 5th wheel for example, then I recommend either the Curt or B&W options.
