Curt Wiring Harness Compatible with 2018 Toyota Sienna XLE
Question:
I purchased the Curt 56106 wiring harness from etrailer for my 2018 Toyota Sienna XLE. I just see someone asked if it would work on their 2018 Sienna XLE and the reply was only that it would not work. I wanted to double check as I am set to install it on mine in sub zero temp tomorrow and dont really want to tear everything apart if it will not work. If it will not what is the correct wiring harness? Thank you

Expert Reply:
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56106 is not compatible with your 2018 Toyota Sienna XLE. The only model it is compatible with is the SE because the wiring is different. I'm so glad you asked before getting frustrated in that extremely cold weather.
You will want the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56261 which is the correct harness to work with the wiring of your XLE model. I've attached a video of this installation on a 2017 model year to help and have also attached an article to help with routing the power wire to your vehicle battery.
