Are Hub/Drums Sold Separately from Trailer Brake Assemblies
Question:
Do these brake kits come with drums or pare the drums separate? Also, I have an older decommissioned u haul tow dolly that does not currently have brakes on it I think it has 14” St205/75r14 wheels on it. Would I be able to retrofit the dolly with brakes using one of these kits? I don’t remember what kind of hub assembly it has and it’s too cold in NY to look at the moment.

Hub/drums are sold separately from the brake assemblies we carry. It's not always needed to replace both at the same time so we offer them separately. You'd have to look at the spindles on the tow dolly to see if they have brake flanges to determine if a set of brakes could be installed. I attached a help article on what it takes to add brakes to a trailer that would walk you through the entire process as well.
