Curt Class V Trailer Hitch Compatiblity with 2015 Ram 2500 with 5 Inch Exhaust

Question:

C15809 and TLD1109-30 Hello, I have a 2015 ram 2500 with a 5inch exhaust. I was wondering if I would have any fitment issues with ether of the subject hitches? Also, I noticed on the TorkLift website that their hitch is being discontinued. Is there any safety issues with their hitches or just a business decision? Thank you

You won't have any fitment issues with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V Commercial Duty - 2-1/2" # C15809. I've attached a photo of this installed so you can see the exhaust fit with this hitch will allow plenty of room. I've attached a video of the installation on a 2014 model to assist.

The TorkLift hitch has already been discontinued so it is no longer in our fit guide. I do not know the reason why it was discontinued as that wasn't disclosed to us. If it were recalled for safety reasons it would require publishing, so I don't believe it has been recalled.
