TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack System for 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500

Question:

I currently have a Undercover Flex Ultra installed on my 2018 Chevy 1500 Silverado. I would like to install a Thule TracRac SR system cargo rack on the vehicle with out drilling into the side rails. The purpose of the rack is to carry a Tepui 4 person roof top tent. I realize that the flip cover may not be able to open unless the rails slide forward.

The Undercover Flex Ultra tonneau you have on your 2018 Chevy 1500 will have a weather strip that overlaps the side rail of your truck even though the frame rails are inside, so you will want be really careful to make sure you don't tear that up as you fold your cover. The Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack - 1,250 lbs # TH43002XT-780 will mount in your stake pockets and give you the support you desire for your tent without any drilling required. You are correct that you will need to slide the uprights to give you the space needed to fold the cover.

If you have the 6-1/2 foot bed, then you will use # TH43002XT-781. If you have the 5-1/2 foot bed, then you will use # TH43002XT-782.
