Recommended Under Bed Rails and Fifth Wheel Hitch for 2016 GMC Sierra 2500HD  

Question:

I have a 2016 GMC 2500HD which does not have the 5th wheel prep package. I want to install under bed rails so I still have full use of my truck bed. I was looking at a Curt 16245 hitch and was wondering what under bed rails and parts I will need for this.

While there are fifth wheel hitches that will work with underbed rails on your 2016 GMC Sierra 2500HD, the Curt Q24 only fits above-bed rails.

Instead, what you need is the Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit # RP30868 and Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30921.
