Can the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch 30047 Be Used on a Ford Super Duty with Prep Package

If you are referring to the pucks used on the factory prep package (see photo 1) in Ford Super Duty Trucks from 2011+ then no, they do not use pins to secure but rather knobs (see photo 2) which rotate to then lock in place. With that being said it sounds like you might be trying to use Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # RP30047 on a Ford Super Duty Truck with the factory prep package. If that is the case then this is possible but it will not attach directly inside the pucks. In order to use this hitch you will need to use an adapter first, the Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter part # RP30156.
