Can Trailair Cushioned Pin Box Connect to Pullrite Superglide Fifth Wheel Hitch

Question:

I have a Dexter pin box 221-003 and a Pullrite Superglide hitch. Curious if this will fit both and if I will notice a difference with the chucking back and forth. Both are for a 2010 Jayco 28.5 with a 1100 Gvwr.

The Trailair pin boxes like the part # UF35-946208 that you referenced are compatible with Pullrite Superglide hitches. You will need to get the correct capture plate for the Trailair from Pullrite though as we do not carry that brand. This Trailair does fit as a replacement for a Dexter pin box 221-003 that you mentioned. This will help reduce the chucking you mentioned noticeably. But most of the chucking you are feeling is from your hitch which has a lot of moving parts.

The only pin box we currently have for your Dexter pin box is the 5th Airborne Premium 5th Wheel Air Ride King Pin w/ Sidewinder and Turret - 16,000 lbs # RP61452 which is air ride but not able to be used with the Superglide. It is designed to replace sliding hitches and still offer turning clearance.
