What Height is Recommended When Setting the Fender Height Above the Trailer Tire?
Question:
With the axle in a no load state what is the maximum full movement up of the spinal? ASR3500S05 This will give me a starting point for setting the fender above tire.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System - Straight Spindle Only - 3,500 lbs # ASR3500S05 has a deflection of 1-3/4 inches. I've attached a photo to assist. We recommend 4 inches above the tire in most cases for fender mounting to account for deflection and any road debris to not damage the tire or fender. That is based on a leaf spring system that will have slightly more deflection than the Timbren system, but it is a good reference and what I would use.
