Trailer Back Up Camera Recommendation When Longer Transmission Distance is Needed

Question:

I have a rear camera on my F150 that handles hitch mounting. Id like to use this camera for backing the trailer into campsites. I have heard the 70foot range claim and others who say it will not keep a signal behind a truck and trailer combo. Mine would be approx 50. Does anyone have actual experience using it on the bumper of a 30foot trailer behind a pickup?

We haven't gotten great feedback on the range of the Rear View Safety Wireless Hitch Camera
Item # RVS-83112 that you referenced so for your needs of 50 feet this would not be what I'd recommend.

I'd instead recommend the Furrion Wireless Camera kit part # FOS43TASF which I realize is a significant increase in price, but for the longer transmission range you have you'll need something higher quality like this which I can easily guarantee will work well for you.
