Recommended Weight Distribution System for a 15,000 lb Box Trailer
Question:
I am looking at a new hitch to tow my 32ft 15,000lb box trailer. Item # TLWD1000 Do you have a shank that goes with that hitch that does not have the double ? but one that is also strong enough for that hitch and trailer combo?

I do have a solution for you but unfortunately you do have to use a TorkLift XL Shank like part # TLM9011 along with the SuperHitch on your tow vehicle to be able to use the Everest Weight Distribution System # TLWD1000.
If 15,000 lbs is the GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating) of your trailer or that is the most it will weigh when you are towing it then you can potentially use the Strait-Line # RP66075 instead. This is rated to tow up to a 17,000 lb trailer and it has a tongue weight (TW) range of 1,000 lbs - 1,700 lbs. For a weight distribution (WD) system TW you add the loaded TW of your trailer with the weight of any cargo that sits behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle. If this number falls between the TW range of the Strait-Line then this system is perfect for you!
To complete this WD system you just need a shank like part # RP54977 or # RP54976 along with a heavy duty hitch ball like the Curt # C40008 2-5/16" hitch ball rated for up to 20,000 lbs.
I have attached a review video for the Strat-Line as well as some helpful articles for you to reference.
