Can the Swagman Platform-Style Bike Rack 64663 be Installed on a Trailer Hitch

I noticed some issues brought up by others in the qanda and reviews about it does not work with recessed bumpers. Can I simply just use the curt e-100 bumper mount hitch instead of the swagman one? The swing man sits on top of bumper whereas the curt is below. Do you see any issues with doing this?

Yes, you can use the Swagman Platform-Style 2 Bike Rack # S64663 with a 2" receiver, like the Curt # E-100 that you referenced, or with the bumper mount that comes with the bike rack.

To ensure that this fits your application you can measure 6-3/4" from the front end of your bumper as that is about where the rearmost cradle will sit of the Swagman bike rack.

If you would like to add locks to this bike rack then part # S64027 will lock the bike rack while 2 of the padlocks # 131D will lock the hooks that secure your bikes.
