Recommended Ski Rack Compatible with the Back of a 2018 Sprinter Van
Question:
Could this be mounted vertically on the back of a 2018 Sprinter Van. Looking for something that could hold skis outside on the back of my Sprinter Van. What are options for something that could go on the left door in back?

For the back of your Sprinter Van, there are very limited options for a ski rack. The best option is to use a hitch mounted bike carrier like the Thule Hitching Post Pro - Folding Tilting 4 Bike Rack w Anti-Sway - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # TH934XTR and then using a ski carrier like the Thule Tram Ski and Snowboard Carrier Adapter # TH9033 or the Yakima HitchSki Snowboard and Ski Carrier # Y02418.
This combination is really the only ski carrier that is designed to fit on the back of a vehicle versus on the roof. The tilting function of the bike rack will allow access to the rear doors. You will want to use a cable lock like # e98891 to loop through the hitch chain loops to secure the adapter and I recommend the # THSTL2 to secure the bike rack to the hitch.
