Switchable Truck Bed Light Recommendation for Truck Bed 7-Way
Question:
I have a 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500. I have a tonneau cover on the bed. The truck has fifth wheel seven pin plug in the bed. Is there a plug-in light available for a 7 pin receptacle that uses the blade that is always hot that I can turn on and off with a switch? Ive seen lights that require the ignition to be on and thats not what Im looking for. When searching the bed at night with the cover on, it can be a challenge. Also, when in the field farming, the tailgate always becomes a workbench and would illuminate that area I know there are bed lights on the market and Im not wanting to go that far. In my mind there is a socket there with a constant hot wire and it is already positioned on the back corner for easy access. I have studied the Blazer C8020 light you offer but from what I can gather, the ignition has to be on in order to work. I appreciate any guidance you can give.

The Light Buster Backup and Utility Light # C8020 that you referenced is actually exactly what you are looking for. As long as the 12 volt circuit of your 7-way is active this light can be used. It has a switch on the light too which allows you to turn it off and on as needed.
