Will Hopkins Wiring Kit # HM40975-11998 fit a 2013 Subaru Forester

Question:

Im looking for something like this for my Subaru Forester. I see this says it only fits the certain GMC and Chevy models. Is there any reason the wiring wouldnt work for my Forester. I already know how Im going to install the actual plug itself. Also, is there a plug I can buy and add to tap in to the OEM wiring harness?

The Hopkins Kit # HM40975-11998 can be used as a universal kit and will fit your 2013 Subaru Forester as long as you connect the pigtail according to the attached diagram.

We do have the T-One # 118467 which plugs right into the OEM wiring harness you have on your Forester. If you are looking for a plug that you can attach to the Hopkins kit referenced above, unfortunately there are none that exist.

I do recommend using a no-drill mount bracket like the part # 18140 to quickly mount the Hopkins connectors without drilling into your trailer hitch or rear fascia.
