Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring Where Left Stop/Turn Circuit Activates Both Sides of Trailer

Why are both indicators working when I go left indicator, but when I go right there is nothing?

You must have the left stop/turn circuit ran to both sides of your trailer which is causing the both blinkers to come on when the left circuit is applied and none when the right side is on. You'll want to go over the wiring of the trailer wiring to find the right stop/turn circuit and run it to the right side. Most likely it's a green wire that will be ran to the right side and a yellow wire ran to the left side.
