Does 5th Wheel Trailer Landing Gear Allow Jacks to Lift Individually
Question:
Can the Lippert Jacks on our 2018 Montana 3701LK be raised and lowered independently..? I would like to raise one front jack at a time to place blocking under the jack without having to hook to my truck... Any info would be greatly appreciated... Our wonderful camper retailer supplied us with a brand new Montana 5th wheel that contained no manuals... Great place to deal with until they had their money... Oh well, live and learn... I did learn that Ill never buy there again...

I wasn't able to determine what landing gear your trailer has specifically from searching online or from your picture as the jacks are somewhat hard to see. That said landing gear isn't designed to allow one leg to lift off the ground while the other supports the weight so that you can put blocks under them individually. The jacks themselves can't handle the weight individually and it would put quite a bit of lateral stress on the one jack since the jack would be supporting the weight from the outside and not the center.
