Will the PCM Need to be Reflashed to Install a Tow Ready Wiring Kit on a 2006 Volvo XC70
Question:
Looking at etrailer PN C59496. Various sources on the internet suggest to only use the factory harness and module or you may blow your PCM. Also, you will have to have your computer flashed by a dealer. Looking for a definitive answer.

I spoke with my contact at Curt and he informed me that you could use this Wiring # C59496 without having to use any modules or reflash your PCM. They test fit all of their wiring kits on the different vehicles to make sure that they will work before they will confirm the fit.
I attached installation instructions for you to check out.
