Trailer Wiring Recommendation for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Question:
I have purchased a Curt T-Connector Wiring Kit 55381. After watching the installation video on etrailer.com site. I realize I can not connect this T-Connector to the brake light assembly with this kit alone. Do I need to buy another adaptor to connect to the Curt T-Connector to the brake light assembly? Thanks!

The CURT T-Connector Wiring Kit # 55381 that you referenced is designed for vehicles with towing packages already installed. For something that would install onto the tail light harness of your 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee you would want a Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring # 118394 that you referenced. I attached installation instructions and a review video for this product for you to check out also.
