Where to Find Brake Controller Install Harness on 2012 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
My 2012 Toyota tacoma has the factory installed towing package, so do I need any extra wires to connect it, other than what comes with the brake controller? I havent yet located the connector on my truck. Thank you!

To install the Tekonsha Primus IQ part # TK90160 in your 2012 Toyota Tacoma requires the install harness part # 3040-P. The harness you are looking for is by the emergency brake pedal. You may have to dig for it a little bit. But if you check out the install video I attached you'll see where our installer found it.
