There are a number of parts needed in order to flat tow your 2013 Toyota Yaris 2-door hatchback (sometimes referred to as a 3-door) with a manual transmission; I will list the parts for you below and all prices can be found on the respective product pages.

- Base Plate Kit: Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit # 521181-5
- Tow Bar: Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-522
- Safety Chains: RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643
- Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
- Supplemental Braking System: SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251
- Brake-Lite Relay: Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400

Base plates are vehicle-specific and the Roadmaster EZ are a fit for your 2013 Yaris and will give your car a clean look, as you can see in the accompanying photo of these base plates installed on a '13 Yaris. The Falcon tow bar is a great option because it is non-binding and has long arms which make it easier to maneuver when towing.

The wiring kit is designed to effectively prevent electrical feedback to keep your Toyota's electrical system safe, and the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO supplemental braking system is highly recommended because it is a one-time install which you can leave in so you'll never have to deactivate or reactivate it. As for the Brake-Lite relay, it is required for your vehicle in order to prevent your Toyota's brake signal from overriding the turn signal from the RV when applying the brakes during a turn.

It is also likely you will need a high-low adapter such as # RM-070 to keep your tow bar level with your tow vehicle. The adapter you need is going to depend on some measurements you'll need to take. I have added a link to a help article on high-low adapters which explains the measurements you'll need, as well as a link to our page with our selection of adapters. I have also added links to video reviews and installations for you to take a look at.
