Brake Controller Wiring and Mounting Bracket for a 2003 Acura MDX
Question:
Hello, we have a Tekonsha Prodigy controller from another vehicle that we would like to put into a 2003 Acura MDX - is there an adaptor or mounting bracket that would work? It does not look like the Acura has a tow package, so I will need the 4 to 6 adaptor which seems easy enough to find on your site. Would I then just wire the auxilliary power feed and the brake controller direct into the 6 way?

This is the replacement bracket (pocket), item # 7686, and replacement wiring harness, item # 7894, for the Prodigy.
I noticed you said you need a 4 to 6 way adapter. Double check to make sure you need a 6 way. Although, 6 way connectors are common, 7 way plugs are more common. The following links will take you to our brake controller installation kits online (one is an install kit for a 6 way, item # ETBC6, and one is for the 7 way, item # ETBC7).
