Can Base Plate Kit and Front Trailer Hitch be Installed on a 2015 Dodge Durango Together

Hi, im not sure what to get for my durango, a front hitch or a base plate.. can they go together at the same time?

Since a base plate kit like the Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit # RM-521449-4 and the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C31033 take up the same space on your 2015 Dodge Durango you would only be able to have one installed at a time. Since new hardware would need to be used each time either of them is installed the best one for you would depend on what you plan on using your Durango for.

If the main purpose is to flat tow then you need the base plate kit. If you were planning on using the front trailer hitch for other applications then you may just need to plan on flat towing a different vehicle so you can get the most out of your Durango.
