Replacement Front Turn Signal for a 1989 Ford F-59

Please tell me why you advised this item instead of Item # STL70AB. which of these two is the sturdiest/ best made?

For a replacement turn signal to use on your 1989 Ford F-59, the Trailer Turn Signal and Parking Light part # STL72AB should work for you. In order to be sure you will need to measure the light you have now. If it measures to be around 6-7/16" long x 2-5/16" wide x 1-3/4" deep then the light will work for you.

In order to install it you are also going to need to use the Right Angle 3-Wire Pigtail part # A47PB and possibly the PVC Grommet for 6-1/2" Oval Trailer Tail Lights part # A70GB.

The Trailer Turn Signal and Parking Light part # STL72AB is more cost effective than the Trailer Turn Signal and Parking Light part # STL70AB which was the basis of my recommendation. The only difference is that part # STL70AB has 56 diodes and will be much brighter than the part # STL72AB which has 10 diodes. They are both made by the same company, Optronics so the quality will be the same.
