When Replacing 7-Way with 4-Way Where Should Extra Wires Go
Question:
Wireing a 4 way to a 7 way I wired. The 4 way to a 4 way now i need to know how to wire into the trailer which has 7 wires black brown yellow green white red and blue i wentwhite to white yellow to yellow brown to brown and green to green. So where do the red. Blue and black wires go to

If you will be using a 4-way connector as the trailer connector from the tow vehicle to the trailer the extra wires from the 7-way would not have anywhere to go and would need to be taped off and tied out of the way. They couldn't be also used with 4-way wiring.
