Will Trailer Hitch From 2012 BMW X5 Fit 2017 BMW X5
Question:
Hi, I wanted to know if I can move hitch from BMW 2012 X5D to 2017 X5D? Do they share same chassis size or I have to buy new Hitch for 2017? Thanks.

Each of the trailer hitches we carry that fit a 2017 BMW X5, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75600 and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13077 will ALSO fit a 2012 BMW X5.
It is important to note that you should not re-use the hardware and do need to get replacement hardware for the hitch at part # RHK.
On the # RHK product page you will need to enter the model number of your hitch - either 75600 or 13077 - in the box marked "Hitch Item Number" and then in the "Manufacturer" drop down box you will enter either Draw-Tite (if you have hitch 75600) or Curt (if you have hitch 13077).
