Tip for Aligning Bolt Holes of Base Plate Kit that Do Not Line Up Perfectly
Question:
On the passenger side, the last bolt hole on the bottom is about 1/8 of an inch off center of the hole on the frame. Even if it can be elongated, I dont have the tool to do it on this steel plate. Help

In situations like yours we recommend loosening all of the bolts that hold the base plate kit to the frame and then starting all of them individually before torquing any. This gives a bit more more wiggle room for the bolts to fit. Was the vehicle ever in an accident by chance?
