Are the yellow chain links plastic coated on the Titan chains as I would like some rim protection? Or should the Konig chains the way to go on my 2018 Audi Q5? 235/55-19 tires.

The yellow links on the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains # TC2317 are not plastic coated. The coloring is to help you install the chains. It makes it easier to know which portion of the chains is the inside and outside when draping them over the tire. The ultimate in rim protection for your tire size of 235/55-19 is the Konig tire chains part # TH02230K66. These don't touch the rim at all so you'd not have to worry about damage at all.
