Recommended Replacement Trailer Connector for 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500
Question:
Need replacement trailer connector for 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500

Expert Reply:
To replace the 7-way trailer connector on your 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500 I recommend the Reese Multi-Plug Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way and 4-Way Flat Trailer Connectors # 74682 for a connection near the hitch. If you want to replace your connector near the license plate, then I recommend the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket # HM40975.
Both of these connect to the factory wiring harness already present in your vehicle. If that harness has been damaged, you can use the 4' Pigtail Wiring Harness for Pollak Replacement 7-Pole RV Socket # PK11998.
If you want to add just a 4-way trailer connector under your 7-way for an accessory, then I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118384. This works great for a tailgate light bar or lighted accessory like # CR-007.
