Based on my research it looks like your 1997 Mitsubishi Mirage with the automatic transmission can only be flat towed if you install a lube pump. This is needed to prevent damage to the transmission while it's being pulled. I do also recommend that you check your copy of the vehicle's owner's manual to verify this or to read any other restrictions when it comes to towing the Mirage.
With the above in mind your best option is likely to pull the vehicle using a trailer or tow dolly so you don't have to make any modifications to the Mirage. This will also probablybe more cost effective.
We do have the Roadmaster Tow Dolly # RM-2050-1 that you can take a look at. This dolly is equipped with electric brakes and features a 4,250 pound weight capacity, which is more than enough for your Mirage. You will just need to add a 7-Way like the Pollak # PK12706.
