Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendation for 2018 Toyota Highlander

What hitch and bike rack should I get for my 2018 Toyota Highlander? I won't be carrying bikes very often so I don't need anything expensive.

First let's start with a hitch for your 2018 Toyota Highlander. For that the best option is the Curt hitch part # C13394 because it has a 2 inch opening which more bike racks are made to fit and has better capacities, and because the hitch has a concealed crosstube which means it will be less visible than most options.

For occasional use the Hollywood Racks bike rack part # HR200Z is the best option. Of the lower priced racks this 2 bike rack is the winner by far. It's a platform bike rack which means it's easier to load/unload and unlike some of the other lower priced racks it's incredible stable in the hitch on the road.
