Recommended Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack to Carry 4 Bikes with a 2018 Honda CR-V

Just bought a 2018 Honda CR-V and I am looking for a hitch to carry 4 bikes with. What hitch and bike rack do you recommend? I need to be able to get inside the back of the CR-V easily with the rack installed.

Unless you have the Touring model of the 2018 Honda CR-V I recommend using the etrailer.com Trailer Hitch # e98848 because it has the 2" receiver needed for carrying 4 bikes and it gives you a really clean-looking installation. If you do have the Touring with the Hands-Free Liftgate then you will want to use the Draw-Tite # 76128 instead as it is the only 2" trailer hitch that doesn't get in the way of the sensors.

Then for a bike rack I recommend the Yakima FullSwing # Y02465 because it boasts a 160 lb weight capacity and the ability to move your bikes out of the way so you can have unrestricted hatch access. This rack also includes integrated locks for peace of mind and an integrated SpeedKnob to help reduce play in the hitch receiver while you are driving around.

Please note that if any of your bikes don't have a horizontal top tube you may need an adapter bar # Y02531 for proper ground clearance.
