Recommended Cargo Box for 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport With Factory Crossbars

We do have cargo boxes which will work for you, but I checked with Yakima and the Yakima SkyBox 18 # Y07336 will NOT fit the factory crossbars on a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport.

I spoke with a representative of Yakima who said the reason the SkyBox (and all other rooftop boxes from Yakima) would not fit was likely because the factory crossbars on your Santa Fe Sport sat low, which would result in the mounting clamps making contact with your Hyundai's roof.

There is a great option for a cargo box that will work for you; I highly recommend checking out the Thule Force XT Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6357B. This box will fit your '18 Santa Fe Sport because it uses a clamp that grips the sides of your crossbars so it will not come into contact with the roof of your Hyundai; I checked with Thule to confirm that this box is a fit.

The Force XT # TH6357B gives you 16 cubic feet of cargo capacity and is very easy to install; you will know when the clamps are tight enough around your crossbars as there will be a very audible click.
