You can flat tow your 2018 Ford Edge Titanium and there are a number of parts you will need. Since you have a 3.5L and do NOT have the Active Cruise Control the correct base plate kit is the Roadmaster EZ5 Base Plate Kit # RM-524444-5 because the brackets will be hidden away so your '18 Edge can maintain a clean look.

For a compatible tow bar I recommend going with the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar # RM-520 because of how easy the tow bar is to connect to the base plates as well as its long arms, which make it easier to maneuver when towing; you will also need safety chains # RM-643.

For a wiring kit that will allow your Edge's lights to function while being towed you can use the Roadmaster 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. Your '18 Ford Edge's battery will need to be disconnected so I strongly recommend the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch # RM-766.

Additionally, a supplemental braking system is a requirement in most states and I highly recommend the Roadmaster InvisiBrake # RM-8700 for this because it is a one-time install which you can leave in so you'll never have to deactivate or reactivate it. You will need to use Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751475 along with your supplemental braking system.

Finally, it is likely you will need a high-low adapter such as # RM-076 to keep your tow bar level with your tow vehicle. The adapter you need is going to depend on some measurements you'll need to take. I have added a link to a help article on high-low adapters which explains the measurements you'll need, as well as a link to our page with our selection of adapters.
