The rear panel of your Drive RV stereo will have number of connectors. These will include INPUTS for 12V operating power, a radio antenna and for connecting outside audio sources such as the stereo sound output from your TV which allows you to run the TV's sound through your stereo.

The rear panel will also have OUTPUTS that send signals out to other components. For instance, if you want to play a DVD and run the audio and video signal to your television you would connect the red and white audio jacks and the yellow video OUTPUT jacks to the corresponding INPUTS on your TV.

The other outputs will typically include speaker-level connections (with pigtail leads) to power your speakers such as # MSX60RVR, and possibly a separate subwoofer output to feed the input of a self-powered subwoofer you might choose to add, one like Furrion # FSW8P12CF, which would add a lot of impact for film viewing (this subwoofer has its own built-in amplifier and requires only the subwoofer input signal).

Usually the outputs you will use to connect the video and audio from the stereo to your TV are round jacks called RCA connectors. The linked photo shows this type. Yellow is for video; red is for right channel audio; white is for left channel audio.

If your Drive stereo does not have clear labels for its various inputs and outputs you can just tell me the model number of the unit (which should appear on the back panel) and I can then check the item's documentation to see what you need. You can also send me clear photos that show the identification of the various jacks on the back.

To avoid confusion, as a general rule keep in mind that an OUTPUT from one item will always go to an INPUT of another.
