Compatibility of EcoHitch Stealth Hitch Reciever # EH84GR on 2017 Model 3
Question:
Your website says that it isnt confirmed to fit my vehicle. Does that mean there have been cases where it didnt fit, or just that youve only confirmed fit on a 2018 model? Id like to take a chance, but it is a lot to shell out only to find it wont fit.

The EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # EH84GR is not a confirmed fit for the 2017 Tesla Model 3.
For your trailer wiring, I recommend the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT which will not require splicing but will simply capture the wire signal by clamping onto the outside of the insulation of the wire and using an integrated sensor. The power for the converter is drawn directly from the vehicle battery to protect your vehicle wiring and electronics.
