Platform Bike Rack Recommendation for 2014 Jeep Wrangler to Clear Rear Spare
Question:
Will this work with my 2013 Jeep Wrangler? It of course has the spare tire mounted on the tailgate. Some photos show it clearing pickups with the tailgate down, so I was hoping it had the right amount of clearance...Thanks

To fit and clear the rear spare of your 2013 Jeep Wrangler we have a similar bike rack to the Thule Doubletrack Pro XT part # TH92BJ that will work well but this rack would not. Instead you'd want the Saris Freedom SuperClamp part # SA4025F which we have test fit on a similar 2014 Wrangler and found that it worked well. See the video link I attached. This rack has several more inches between the hitch pin and the wheel trays is why it works.
