Question:
What is the purpose of the Thin Steel Cable that goes through ML1465DAT hitch pin? Your video does not show this. This cable does not allow me to the pin in the hitch. Very strange. Please help.

The metal piece you are talking about on the Master Lock Pivot Lock Hitch Pin # ML1465DAT has no structural significance and is there only to help secure the pin to the packaging. You can go ahead and remove it so that it is out of the way!
