For your 2018 Chevy Colorado ZR2, the Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-523182-4 or the # RM-523182-5 will fit as long as you don't have the adaptive cruise control.
Either of these baseplates will work very well with the Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-422. I also recommend getting the coiled safety cables # RM-643 to keep the cables off the ground. If you have the Blue Ox Base plate, then an adapter.
For your tow bar wiring, I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 because it will give you the coiled connector and also the 6-way on the vehicle end. Then the wiring and diodes will utilize your factory wiring and lights while still protecting your electronics from any back feeding or overload. I also recommend the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch for Towed Vehicle w/ Supplemental Braking System # RM-766 which will make it as easy as the press of a button to disconnect your vehicle battery for towing. While you are wiring that connector and the battery, I recommend using the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25 to keep your Colorado battery maintained even on the long trips where the braking system will use that battery power.
For your supplemental braking system, I recommend the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251 because it is a simply plug and play system after the initial installation and adjustment. It will remain out of the way and will work extremely well over the long term. This system is a customer favorite.
Finally, you will need a high-low adapter. I've attached an article and a link to all your options so you can easily find the correct fit. You may also want to consider the Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screening # RM-4750 and a tow bar cover like # RM-055-3 for when it is stored on the back of your motorhome.
I've attached videos of the products recommended to assist with your complete flat towing system.
