Recommended Roof Rack for a 2019 Mini Cooper Hardtop Coupe

I would be happy to help you choose a roof rack for your 2019 Mini Cooper Coupe!
If you have the flush mount rails that run from the front to the back of your roof then I recommend going with the Yakima JetStream roof rack system. This consists of the JetStream Bars # Y00425, the RidgeLine Towers # Y00145, and the Fit Kit # Y06009. The aerodynamic design of the JetStream bars will help to reduce wind noise and drag while the aluminum construction keeps them from rusting. This roof rack option has a 165 lb weight capacity.
If you don't have the flush mount rails then the only fit is the SeaSucker Monkey Bars part # 298-SX6000B which uses 6 vacuum mounted cups for installation.
Locks can be added to either roof rack with the Yakima Same Key System (SKS) 4 Pack # Y07204.
One of the most common reasons for adding a roof rack to a vehicle is for bike transportation. If this is you then I highly recommend using the Yakima FrontLoader # Y02103 because it secures your bike without making frame contact. It also has locking features if you add the SKS system. If you do choose to use this bike rack then you can use the SKS 6 Pack # Y07206 so that you can use the same key for your roof rack and the bike rack.
