Replacement Tongue Jack for a 2005 Coachmen Clipper Sport 206

Question:

I have a 2005 Coachmen Clipper Sport 206. The tongue jack/wheel slipped down during travel and dragged on the ground deforming the metal mounting clamp that tightens it against the frame bracket. Is it possible to find a replacement? The markings on it are AL-KO 05003 i think. It is the silver metal outer clamp piece. The other half of this clamshell type clamp is welded to the frame. If I cant find this bracket what is my other option? cut the existing clamp off and mount another clamp or mount one to the other side of the frame? picture attached! thanks.

I do have options for you but AL-KO was bought out by Dexter in 2015 and replacement parts for their jacks are not going to be attainable therefore, you would want to replace the entire jack. I did some research on your 2005 Coachmen Clipper Sport 206 at it looks like it is an a-frame trailer with a side mount jack. The best replacement we have for this is theBulldog Round, Snap-Ring Swivel Jack - Topwind - 2,000 lbs # BD151460.

The Bulldog Round, Snap-Ring Swivel Jack has a 2,000 lb tongue weight capacity and comes with a five-year warranty. It comes with a footpad for support. It also swivels up and out of the way when not in use. As you mentioned, you can either remove the existing bracket and then affix the new one or just mount it to the other side of the trailer frame. To install this jack you will also need the weld-on swivel mounting bracket # F500242 and swivel snap ring # BD500241 which are sold separately.

I have attached a review video for you as well.
