Operating Hazard Lights with Taillight Converter Installed
Question:
I currently have a curt 58240 converter which does not allow the hazard lights to function. Does this converter allow the hazard lights to also work?

The Roadmaster Brite-Lite Wiring Converter # RM-732 that you referenced will work the same as your existing Curt unit in that it will convert a 3 wire system on a towing vehicle to a 2-wire system on the towed vehicle or trailer. It won't provide a better solution than what you already have.
Are the hazard lights not working at all or are they just not flashing the amber lights on the vehicle? Because of how signal converters are designed there isn't really a good way to make the signals work so that the hazards activate the amber lights on the vehicle. The converter simply can't decipher the difference between the flashers/hazards and brake lights, so it will send the circuit on just the brake lights and they will flash instead. This is perfectly normal.
Please let me know if they are not working at all or if you are having a different issue and I will be happy to look into this further.
