Comparing the Buyers Products Circuit Breaker and Superwinch Circuit Breaker

Question:

Why would I want to use something like the Superwinch Replacement 4-Circuit Breaker with Bracket vs a breaker like part # 337CB251PB? I already have the 4 circuit unit, but its long, clunky, etc. I have a breaker setup for my TommyGate that mounts cleanly inside the engine compartment, on the side wall, and I would like to use the same type setup with a 250Amp manually resettable breaker in the same way, mounted in the engine compartment side wall, as well. Any reasons, you can think of, not to go this route? Thanks,

For starters, if you have a Superwinch Winch then I can't recommend using anything other than what is provided with the kit. However, a circuit breaker is a circuit breaker so as long as it has the proper amperage, I don't see any issue in swapping them out. The main difference between the Buyers Products Circuit Breaker part # 337CB251PB and the Superwinch Circuit Breaker part SW90-22147 is that the Buyers Products has a 250 amp rating, manual reset, and a weatherproof housing. The Superwinch has a 230 amp rating, auto reset, and a non-weatherproof housing.
