Could Power Defender part # CAM55301 Be Used with 30 to 50 Amp Adapter

Question:

Hi there, I have a 50 AMP RV connection at home, but a 30 AMP trailer. Can I use a 30 AMP/50 AMP adapter with Surge Protector CAM55301 into the 50 AMP outlet and plug my 30 AMP trailer cable into the surge protector like normal - and be safe in all electrical aspects? Likewise, if I am ever at a 50 AMP only connection would this work? I know the adapter will work, but my concern would be if any 30 AMP appliances try and draw too much power. Thanks.

If the power draw was less than 30 amps with the accessories then the Camco Power Defender part # CAM55301 can be used with a 30 amp to 50 amp adapter. Having access to a 50 amp power source though does not mean that much amperage will be pulled through the adapter.
